This year has been a series of ups and downs for me as a home owner. The year started off horribly wrong when I had a little fire in my basement and continued on recently with some flooding. Oh, I can’t forget the break-in that we had during the middle of summer.
It hasn’t been a good year for me owning a home. But to make things worse, I accidentally put a shovel through the window in my garage, so I now need to buy some new windows. While the timing certainly isn’t great, I know that I have needed to replace these windows for some time now. I have been procrastinating for so long that I needed an event just like this to give me the final push I needed to finally shop for windows replacement in Los Angeles. It is funny how life can steer you in a way that you have been avoiding to go. Some may call it fate or destiny, but I like to think of it as a series of events that I noticed that highlighted something that needed to be done. That is how I see the world. Now that I am going to replace these windows, I have started to look at my home with new eyes – there are quite a few things that could be done that I have been putting off. Maybe this will be the start of some home renovations.
